Posting a pic of my truck makes me have one? Is that all it takes? You can call the dealer and ask the service manager about my truck if that helps. Would you like to see my bank records too? Maybe some pictures from my last colonosocpy?

I just did a search on all your posts (cool feature of the site btw), man your jokes are terrible. Also there are zero details about your truck, length of ownership, set up etc. Maybe you are Horsey. He comes in a close second with lame come backs.

Yeah I might have a problem with opening my mouth.

So this is some of the stuff I want to address:
Suspension - still stock, I want to make some upgrades
Winch and bumper - I have a serious issue with wanting stuff to look factory so I need advise
Exhaust - leaking
Backfire issue
AC - addressed
door top removal
vent seals - not really in the rain but the foam is turning to crap
aux lights
prepping to actually drive in winter

At this point you may need to have a note on the seat saying "I love the D-90 source" on it. Cm'on quit stalling.

Will need specifics to help with your list.

This East coast - West coast thing is getting heavy ...

Vent seals - use ones from a series truck ... very inexpensive fix to leaky vents.

Hey I asked about the east coast west coast thing a second ago in the happy hour thread.

I did the series vent seal thing. I was happy with the outcome but it is very time consuming to do.

I pulled the vent covers and removed every last bit of foam before i mounted the series seals to the bulkhead. Such a bitch getting the vent flap screws back in

Welcome to the board! We've got a good crew of rover owners in NJ.. a few defender owners.. I'm currently defender-less, but slowly looking for another one. We usually do shopdays throughout the year, go wheelin' when we can, and go to some of the larger trips. We also picked up having a monthly meetup again, so that's a good opportunity to come out and meet some people..

I'm not aiming to stir up any East West animosity ... I just want to live in peace!

I got the rubber ready to go for the vents ... why are the vent flap screws so hard ( i haven't looked at it yet ) ... is their a trick?

Well to do it right you should take flaps off. That means disconnecting the screws that hold the flaps to the vent levers. i have giant hands so it was a pain.

I like how my profile keeps changing. If I was going to lie about my truck I would have said it was a new puma

I did it too... it was a major pain in the butt just because getting those damn screws in and out is suks but I didn't think it took that long... I thought it was pretty quick but VERY worthwhile!!

the trick is they're just hard to get behind... I think I had a 10mm ratchetting wrench that just fit up in there and then it wasn't too bad... a full ratchet doesn't fit, a box wrench works but you have to be slow... if you have a child under 10 that can work a wrench that might be a better option...

Yeah and make sure you use the right type of sealant to attach the vent seals. I had to buy a second set from george. There was some laughter on the phone when I did.
