I ordered KM2 just now. 235/85-16. Super cheap from discount tire direct with price matching and rebate.

That's quite the hefty A Bar you have there, too.

Doug, got it back in '99 or '00 from TLR. It's the Defender Heritage Edition Grill. I believe it's NLA.

Thanks. Mechanically it is pretty good now too after an engine rebuild and a bunch of other stuff I do need shocks and springs but otherwise I am happy. I just need to report my credit card stolen.

Costco filled them with Nitrogen. Anybody know whats up with that? Haven't ever had that before.
odd. i swapped out a set of old at's on my fj 40, expecting big noise from the km2's, and they are quieter. im not sure what they did with how the tread hits the pavement, but is a really pleasant mud tire.

im fucking pissed about the rebate. i bought mine 3 months ago and the tab for 5 was 960 mounted and ballanced.

km2's on a 40.

Ive got KM2's on my Classic, baby KM2's at that. Ive got some semi cupped KM's on my 90. The KM2's have been rotated blah blah blah, they are way more noisey than my KM's. Wear etc is close to the same. I will have had the KM2's a year this winter, the tread wear seems to be pretty good. I run about 12-15 pounds of air in the woods, they perform equally. I did notice that I would have to unseat the bead to clean debris from the KM's not and issue with the KM2's. THey did away with the "rim protector" on the KM2. My next tires will be Dunlop RT's.

Question BF Goodrich Mud Terrain T/A KM2 265 75 16

I looked at Discount Tire Direct ($210), Tire Rack ($201), TireTeam ($202.59), Costco ($208 something)
plus mounting and balancing it was almost $1000.

Is there anyplace cheaper?

O man, second that. That is a beautiful build. The small hubcap in the center of those steel wheels is one of my all time favorite looks. That combined with a nice size MT is perfect.
