New style rear bench seat at ECR

saw this on their facebook page - looks good!

ECR upgraded rear seat in the back 1997 NAS 90 #1040 (now ready to head out to Nevada). This gives more head and back support (and is better for child seats). Its still hard to get into just like the stock forward facing seat, but once you are in it is safer. It still flips and folds (and is easy to remove) like the stock seat and the head rests adjust up and down. It is covered in factory materials for a clean look

I would love to see how that folds down and forward.

That is the worst looking thing I have ever seen.
Kudos to ECR for knowing how to make it but shame on them for actually doing it. THE CUSTOMER ISN'T ALWAYS RIGHT.

Might as well buy a lazy boy and screw it to the floor.

That's probably more effort than some of their customers want to put forward... They've had customers bring their trucks to mechanics to install their soft tops.

I don't think it is so bad. I don't want it, but could see how someone might. I do appreciate the engineering and thought that went into it though.

Any other options out there that people know of?

Would something like this work?

I remember some years back they modified a rear seat to look similar to that.

A few years ago my garage door came crashing down on my top and ripped it. Allstate considered it an act of god and replaced the top. Instead of just ordering a top and having it shipped to the house I had to take the truck to an auto body shop where they proceeded to install the top for 2 days.

That rear seat looks comfortable, perfect for a BR110.

I'd much rather have the flip-and-folds from Exmoor.

Phillip, are you the guy on FB who posts once in a while on ECR's pave and he asks you not to? Could have sworn I saw a Phillip on there. I'm not a member, but I used to check out their page.

You don't have to be on Facebook to look at ecrs page. I jerk off to it daily. Well only to the beach runners.

For crying out loud you've ruined it. Now when I look at that page I'll be wondering if you are too.

On a colder day I have thought about doing this. When I run out of knuckle skin and curse words I would pay any amount and anyone to put that damn top back on!
