Pics...

I sure miss my MK3 Range Rover. This one might take a little time to grow on me.

That's what I was thinking. It looks like the front end of the new Explorer.

x2 Modern SUV design is putting me to sleep. Hell, most automotive design these days, for that matter.

Agree - there is nothing "new" that really is on my want list. But I still head snap when I see older Bimmers, P-cars, Volvos, and of course Landys drive by.

Over the past two years I spoiled myself in buying my 110 and then a E30 BMW coupe. Its all downhill from here for me I think.

I can now tell you that when you see it in person it does not look like a Ford.

It def looks like a Ford, The RRS I see lately and Ford explorers are very similar.

Yep, looks like a Ford, just like the Defender looks like a Jeep!

Anyone know if the 3rd row seat, LWB model is a go or not? I've heard rumblings but nothing concrete...

I've purchased 2 vehicles that I thought were hideous on launch, but grew on me. Like they, err, we say, "the last one was better" and "I attended the last hard class..."

I have seen nothing about a third row and originally heard we where going to get the LWB as a five passanger but now it sounds like if they do it may be after the initial launch.

All and all it could have been worse. It just doesn't look how a Range Rover should. The sloping front end (Damn health and safetly people) and the more streamline look (stupid fuel prices). You don't buy a Range Rover if your worried about fuel economy.

Eventually all the car makers are going to be like Nascar. Everything looks the same, just whats on the inside that's different.

So that front end will be more comfortable if I'm struck by it as a pedestrian? How thoughtful.

You have it all wrong. The slope will gently roll you off the hood onto your feet. The blow will feel like a steel pillow.

Maybe if A. Drivers pay attention and B. pedestrians pay attention with point would be moot. We are just curbing natural selection.
