New rig in the fleet

Back to my German-car roots again with a modern diesel. Pretty impressive technology on these engines. Especially with the emission systems. It's also my first non-pickup with a slush box. The tow rating is an impressive 7600lbs. Looking forward to seeing how it does with the car hauler hanging off the hitch.

If it's half as reliable as the 2000 Jetta TDI I had, I will be ecstatic!

2010 Volkswagen Touareg
3.0L V6 TDI
61k miles
Base package

I remember taking out the first gen V10 TDI T-reg. Before you realized it you were already doing 60 on surface streets. That truck could definitely get out of its own way.

Nice pickup on the new one, the face lift they gave them has done wonders over the first gen..
