New Owner/Old vehicle

Hello All. Wanted to introduce myself. My name is Dan and I live in Delaware.

I have been lurking on this site for about a year while searching and purchasing a 110. It arrived a few weeks ago and I have spent that time just getting acquainted with it.

She is a 1985 110 w/ 300 Tdi/LT77. I had the RHD converted to LHD as well as aftermarket air.

The vehicle was purchased from Aaron at GB4x4. I spoke with him at length prior to placing the order. I provided specs of the vehicle I wanted and set him loose on a search. He went and found the vehicle for me in the UK, shipped it over, did the work. He kept me posted with updates and status reports. Have nothing but good things to say of the experience. You can see the starting point of the vehicle on his site.

I am extremely pleased with the results. Say what you want of the color, but it was my pick, the LR Vesuvius Orange. The vehicle has a ROW external cage, NAS roof basket, (required some fiddling to build a mount). Aaron found the vehicle with the cage.

There are many things I plan to do to the truck to finish to my preferences. Will upgrade the gauges, install stereo, rack lights, winch and the usual fun stuff. Plan to do this work myself so please be patient if I ask stupid questions. I promise to search the forum before asking.....

This forum has been really helpful in providing great info which I used to spec the vehicle in the first place.

I'll try posting some images, so bear with me if it fails as I have not done this before.

Speak with you all soon.

Thought I saw you in town as well as a red 130 that I think was from Hilton Head. I'm sure we are a stone throw apart (small town). Let's connect.

[AA group voice] Hi Dan, welcome. [/AA group voice]

Looks like a nice truck.

I like that the cage has B pillar supports. Any pics of how those attach to the T post?
