New Owner!!

Hi all,
I purchased a 1994 D-90 & it should arrive in about a week and a half. The wait is driving me nuts! Anyway, I was wondering the best source for rear jump seats without breaking the bank. Thanks!

No good with the rovers down south. Any other? I see a few places but a set of four is $1400- a bit steep for me! Thanks.

If you're looking for an economical way to go try looking for bench seats from an 88 instead of jump seats from a 90...

you end up with joined seats and a little less flexibility but just as many seat belts and much lower cost.

Frankly, you do not want jump seats, you want a rear bench.

If you really want jump seats I know of a set. PM me.

Congrats!

RN has seats for about $250 each... or DAP which has them for around $170 each...

I'm not familiar with the seats from DAP, but just remember 'you get what you pay for.'

Congrats! Post some pics when you get a chance.

BTW, what is the reason for going w/ jump seats? I agree w/ Ron about the bench. Before I got my 90 I wanted to get the jumpers so I could fit all 3 kids in the back but after reading posts on here - I think the bench is safer. So now my oldest sits up front w/ the 2 younger ones in the back. The wife gets left at home - which she doesn't mind getting a break from all of us :D I'll probably get a Corbeau Baja bench sometime before summer as it looks even more safe.

I agree with Ron. They suck to sit in, even for a short period of time and cut into your usable storage space, even when folded upright.

As an around the town and beach ride the jump seats work great, although I wouldn't enjoy sitting in them on a long trip. Also they enable you to carry 4 rear passengers instead of two with the bench.

The best thing about the jump seats are the added storage space when they are up, and the easy access to getting in and out of the D-90 which is very difficult with the bench seat.

Thanks guys. I have always loved the look of the jump seats, even if they are not practical! I am so excited to get the defender. I was in Costa Rica over the winter & they are everywhere down there (90's & 110's).
