Dave,

Look at the tires on Bill Burkes 90 in the Anza photospread on EE's site. Bill is a BFG guy, these may be the final prototype.

Beefy indeed.
Bet you would like to be the first kid on the block with those at Winter Romp.

I thought those were "BFG Krawlers" with an additional block cut. (see link?)

Those are 16's and seeing that Krawlers don't come in 16's it must be a new offering. I hope the new MTs work better in snow than the old ones. I went out for a snow run (5" of snow) with my BFG MTs two weeks ago. This was my first trip in the snow with the BFGs and I was very disappointed.

I am running MT/R's. But they've seen some miles, wear and age. So I'm thinking ahead and considering other options. Just hate to be the guinea pig on tires though.

Why not just ask BB what he thinks of them?

Just shot you an email on another question Dave.

I spoke to bill about these
http://www.defendersource.com/forum/...&highlight=bfg
he was testing them for BFG, he liked them, but had not tested them in the snow yet (september). He thought they would be released in Jan or Feb.

I have about 30K+ now and they still have tread left. Probably about 1/2 inch left. But they are definitely showing the wear. More from cut lugs and chafing of the rocks or maybe just my heavy truck...
