Hey everyone,

Just found your bbs today and man am I stoked. I've had my 1994 D-90 since it was new, and have not done much to it. I upgraded the center console and had the rear bed sprayed with rhino lining as my rubber rear mat dried out and rotted in the sun of southwest Colorado. I did a search on the help forum and found some information that should help with a leak out of the rear differential that I have to take care of ASAP. If anyone is ever is southwest colorado shoot me an email I can help send you on the right path. THere are some beautiful off road trips to take. Here is a picture of the car as it sits today (if it shows up? ? ?), desperately needing a wash.

Cheers,
Rich

Since new! WOW! Welcome to the forum! What part of the rear diff is leaking? Oh and is that the only leak?

The leak seems to be comming predominanitly from where the drive shaft goes into the rear differential. It is the most significant leak, the others are minimal and not as worrying, how is that. Just look at your web site and noticed you have a cdn too. Mine is cdn029.

LOL, Yup! Another Canadian NAS 90 in the US! CDN62 checking in!

My rear diff leaked in the same spot, I replaced the seal. Not too hard worst part is getting the driveshaft bolts on and off, oh and you may need a big socket to tighten and loosen the nut on the pinion (depends on the diff. When you take it off use a tork wrench and be sure to put it back on at the same tork.
