Unhappy New LR - Sweet and rotting the bank account

The link to Edmunds review of the new Land Rover.
Oh well, at $70k plus options (my local LR dealer still knows nothing of price, available options + prices) it ain't going into the driveway. The LR3 was way to plastic and cheap looking with a $60k price (options included) so Lexus may well win again for my wife (RX330).

Did you notice the RR Sport is an LR3 with a shorter wheelbase? Now why don't they take that framework and make an LR3 that a) doesn't look like a minivan b) is something more fitting to the Land Rover character and history.

except for the fact it costs less, why would you take an RX330 over an LR3? I think everyone dumps a little too hard on the LR3 simply because it isnt what they were hoping for - but all cars these days have huge deformable bumpers and stuff. It certainly isnt any less appealing than an RX330 which is basically a civvic hatchback that sits a little higher...

Most Extreme Elimination. It's a TV show on Spike, I think it took place in the 80s in Japan, and they dubbed over the voice on the show. It's very funny, and in one episode they were talking about New Jersey, and how everyone in NJ says F'n A, one guy asked the other what F'n A meant, the other replied they use it like the word indeed.

The times I saw that show, sometimes I wished I could've heard what was actually being said - translated of course. Their jokes were kind of lousy, but it was funny to watch.

Hmm yes Indeed. I'm sure Phil is more a "Guy LeDouche" fan anyway.
