Welcome!
What to look for partly depends on your preferences. Soft top or Station Wagon? Automatic or manual? NAS? Diesel? Modified or stock? I'll bet your questions will be answered well here!

to get you started. Also search "rust" and "overheating" and "yet another no start" for some of the things that will eventually happen during ownership. Giving you mostly worst-case scenario stuff.

fair point,
Wagon,
Manual,
Gas,
Stock for starters.

If moded what should I be looking for. I notice alot are running ARB lockers front and rear.

The rig is going to be the range rig (gun range), Hunting, camping, fishing. Non daily, primarily in the woods or on the way to the woods. Off road duty will be local club events, but primarily I will be using FS and Private timber roads.

Thanks, I perused them, reading the important bits. I am looking nation wide, for a good example. I tend to keep my cars in good condition. most I have owned since new. All have many years miles under them.

thanks will do a search on rust. and overheating first. Likely I will be buying this on the other side of hell and driving it back to the Rain that is my seattle love.

Welcome Aaron. A stock D90 should do everything you ask of it. I think it's a soft top, but there is a nice white one for sale right now that looks like a great truck for the money.

A very good example of what I am looking for. However I want a hard top, with rear seats. 2 kids, dog, and hunting boxes will need to be a bit more secure. At least in my wifes mind. I do like that one though. It seems to be a very well kept rig.

FWIW, milage on a well kept rig does not bother me.

my 01 tahoe has 165k and tows my buisness trailer daily 4500lbs.

My 05 Audi has 110k on it.

my 87 bmw 325is has just shy of 285k on it.
I don't know where my bimmer photos are.

Woah, that's the first TD5 I've seen for 7000 (plus shipping).

And also the first one I've seen with a Nissan A-Bar.

Not a lot of FS and private timber roads in your immediate vicinity - are you talking about Mt. Rainier area via Enumclaw? I like it up there.

Are you already hooked up with PCRC and/or Cascade Rovers?

No not hooked up with any of the clubs as of yet. We travel fairly large distances to go camping. Taking the north cascades loop for poops and giggles is not out of the ordinary for us. Along with doing the peninsula in a day. we like the back side of mnt st helens alot. We also know north west oregon very well.

I actually agree with you. Thats why i didn't buy it, but i know the chap so i said i'd mention it. Talking of Qplates, today I am shipping a 300tdi double cab for a client in Washington state, the V5 dock says '109 petrol' and its clearly a 110 tdi!! I hope it gets in,

I'd just like to reitterate the fact that this is not one of my vehicles, I am just providing shipping services.

Not yet we made some changes we swapped out the axles for 24 spline ones, we replaced the bulkhead for a good secondhand one, we changed the perkins diesel to a good 300tdi with a R380 tranny. Just needs the door bottoms doing, respray and interior tyding. I am open to offers on it though.

Would happily swap the 110 for a nicely restored 1941 slat grill Willys MB Jeep
