Here's a little preliminary test in the garage. Tried them in the ZKW H4 housings, hooked up to a power supply. The beam pattern isn't quite correct, so I guess that's why these bulbs can be rotated to adjust that. So far it looks like they aren't exactly an improvement over the halogen bulbs so I'll probably be sticking with those. They do consume a lot less power though. The wires got pretty warm powering the halogen bulbs, but the LED bulb didn't make the wires warm at all. It would be interesting to compare these with the IPF and genuine Philips LED bulbs.
