Found a shop to do my exhaust. Turns out the owner of this franchise muffler shop does custom stuff one day a week. For those that have driven a TDI with and without exhaust attached what differences can I expect when I get her back?

My 200tdi just has a turndown attached to the downpipe. Wide open. Loud and fun

ha! Good call. But in terms of throttle response I have to imagine a bit slower?

I ran my OM617 with just a downpipe for about a week... I definitely missed the throttle response and the insane turbo whistle once I went do a crushed 2.5" exhaust. Aside from douche-factor, I can understand why guys run stacks... it was fun
