I wouldn't kick it out of bed. If that is actualy a close representation of what the new one might look like It's not too bad. Better than those fugly concept drawings.

Not a terrible photoshop job, and is a very plausible design.

I like it.

some dude did that at home for fun or something. i am a product designer and i pulled the image into PS and there is nothing acurate about this. if you look close at the fender/wing the form moves up at an angel. in the lights were just copied and pasted from a lr3 or something. would be nice if the designers at LR would design a d90 changing just a few small things, like oil leakes for example the styling is fine the way it is, it is an automotive icon. but LR won't be redesigning a new d90 anytime soon in my opinion. as far as the pic, it's fun, and it was probably fun for the dude who did it. wheni get board at work i do concepts of a new d90 how i would like to see it designed for S*&ts and giggles.

i just heard from one of the LR mechanics that they will be getting Diesels in the LR3s soon. He said they will be getting trained in the motors shortly. I will keep everyone posted.

This is a photoshop job of the Defender pictured on LR's UK site. That said, it certainly is a more interesting take than what others have suggested.

Randy - A few months back I saw two Discovery 3 with TDV6 badges in a Denver area hotel parking lot. Both trucks had Michigan manufacturer plates, instrumentation gear in place of passenger seats, and modified exhausts. I drove an LR3 and was not crazy about it, but would give it a second look if it had a turbo diesel. Mark

Randy - Not disputing your source, just offering an another source of information to confirm. I waited around the breakfast area for about 20 minutes to see if I could spot the drivers before I had to run off to my appointment. No joy on locating them. Mark
