New D90 for me!!!!

I have been looking at buying a Defender for a long time and have been a big Mercedes G wagon fan. I have owned a 2011 G550 (sold) and also own a 2000 G500 Cabrio. Right hand drive D90's are not that easy to find in Canada but I found a place that has been importing lots of them. The truck I'm getting is a 1997 V8 with 70,000km from Japan. It was in great shape and had a full inspection once it hit Canada. New brakes, rotors, tires, hinges, lights, detail, fluid change, paint work etc... I will be receiving it in the next ten days and I'm super excited. Today I recived my truck lite headlights and have Land Rover and V8 gloss black badges on the way. That's my intro so here's some pics........

Jumping from a G to a D90... be prepared for an eye opening experience of British quality.....

I have both (1989 G and had numerous defenders over the years....)... the G is far superior!

Rhyno,

Congrats on the purchase! I believe you bought that truck from a dealer in Montreal, correct? I remember dealing with him, but couldn't agree on price for the white one - hope you enjoy it!

Wholly wall of bling! Do you make custom bikes? Your garage wall looks pretty stocked... Nice clean d90-- looks like a good buy!

Yes I did. I have been trying to buy one from him for awhile and we finally made a deal.

All the pictures are from the dealers showroom! He imports lots of D90's.

Congrats! So is this a pre-Aug '97 build that's the same as the NAS (and eligible for US import), or the post-Aug build? (Not that it matters for Canada, but just curious)

That's a beauty

Something about red on a SW really works whether you like red or not.
