Did I tell you I had to change the ignition switch? It broke, so now it has a different set of keys, it is also sitting in the driveway with the hood off on 35" tires and I painted it blue.

OK now we are off topic, I think I'll move this to chit chat.

It's good to be the moderator.

www.roversnorth.com has a bunch of stuff as well, and they're running holiday specials right now. While you're there make sure you get on the mailing list so you can read the stupid () stuff Land Rover owners do. If you post in the wanted section you might find a used set somebody has. I'm new to this Defender thing as well, but I've found no matter what your question is somebody here has the answer.

"...pss> plan to do snow, rocks....and SCUBA!"

To my knowledge no one has tried to take a Defender SCUBA diving. We do a bit of snorkeling, though...

I'm a diver...I'm sure some other folks on here are too. When I was stationed in North Carolina (in the Marines), I would drive down to the beach in my Rover and use the back as my dive locker. Of course driving the truck on the beach was far more interesting than diving in the Atlantic off the Carolina coast (talk about murky!).

Like everyone else has said, welcome aboard.
