X2... Our clan numbers 4.
15 (F); 13 (F); 11 (F); 9 (M).

While it is work... lots of work. We have a lot of fun. Our house is like a revolving door, with all of the kids' friends choosing our house to hang out -- we are thankful for it, as we know where they are and what they are doing.

I'm the oldest of 6 and I've learned the follow from my experiences and my parents':
1st kid - really big deal -- everything is new
2nd kid - wow, overwhelming -- older kid has problems and adjusting to two
3rd kid - not a big adjustment -- two 'helpers', but out numbered
4th kid - minimal adjustment -- three 'helpers'; eats dirt (OK); falls down, no immediate concern; why get stitches, when butterfly bandaids work; less doctor visits, as mom is an unofficial nurse by now
5th kid and over - see 4th kid - however, even easier, with all the help -- alas, this is possibly the time to take up another hobby or buy a TV. May I suggest rebuild a Rover.

All in all, welcome to the Being Outnumbered Club... I wish the greatest success and happiness. My kids make me smile most every day.

Jason.
