Red face 'New' 2007 D90

Just wondered if you guys had seen the 'new' D90. This link should take you there http://threads.lro.com/cgi-bin/wwwth...collapsed&sb=5

It's on the UK Land Rover Owner mag forum. The engine is from Ford, and apart from having lower emissions than the TD5 (yep, we're talking diesels here) doesn't seem to have much going for it power-wise but it has 4 valves per cylinder. Improvements include a brand new dash and heater (Canadians & Scots please note!) AND forward facing rear seats for the 90 and the back row of the 110. The front vents below the windshield look to be there but I expect they're blanked off. There's a big write-up on the forum.. As I posted there, I expect it's only a stop-gap until the completely new cheap-to-produce model comes out in 2010, complete with monocoque and sub-chassis. Production line designers must hate all those rivets..
