New 110 owner, going across the US

Well, I have finally made the plunge. Flew from east TN to Vancouver BC, with the hopes of getting a 110 through customs. Had no problems at all in fact the guys working last night loved the 110(I was very relieved, in fact i was very nervous after what had gone on in NC). The vehicle on the highway drives great at 80, with the new LTX's on it, way more power/speed then I expected. You may think I am crazy, I am going to drive it back to TN. Going to try to click off 800 miles a day. I will keep you updated on the journey.......

Looks like a beautiful 100 keep us posted... Would love to know the details did you import into BC or buy there? What did you pay looking for a couple project vehicles myself.

Met owner in Vancouver, made deal at his house, filled out bill of sale. Paid way more than I wanted to. Its an 1986 on original frame in great condition rebuilt to 2007 specs. We both went to the border at bellingham WA. Had all the paperwork(bill of sale, Canadian title). The customs guys did some research on the vehicle, then I paid the duty taxes(after the fact they told me if I stayed in canada 48 hours, I would of been exempt form $600 of duty. Info I could of used). Just very relieved that it got through.

Congrats! What part of East Tennessee? I was born in Bristol and my family lives in Knoxville. Send me a PM if you make it through Nashville... I'll buy you a drink.

So far, everything has been great. This truck rocks. I am on the border of utah on I84, getting ready to cross wyoming, trying to get ahead of the snow storm. I have been able to average about 22 to 23 mpg at about 75 mph. Every time i stop, i get someone asking what is the vehicle and getting into a conversation. Lets try to click off about another 800 miles today.....

Congrats on your entry; love the white ROWs. Probably the last vehicle you'll ever need.

Nice job. I took a serious look at that truck. Glad it ended up with a good home.
