New 110 models in Nicaragua

So I am visiting my wifes family in Nicaragua and just a mile or so down the road is the Land Rover dealer. They have three new 110s on the lot. I think the sales people thought I was a crazy American as I started crawling under the trucks and took a bunch of pictures.
The new models are really nice - maybe a bit too nice.

IŽve seen a few Series trucks, a couple Discos, several 110s - but no D90s yet.

IŽll post pictures when I return.
Paul

Here's a few more random Rovers, Santana, Russian UAZS and a Bolero (never seen one of these before..).
There were a lot of 110s, a lot of Series, a few Discos, some newer Rovers - but I only saw one 90.

God I hate UAZ's. After spending about 5 minutes in Russia you develop a strong aversion to soviet design. It crecendo's when you fly in a Tupolev.

Think that dude in the last picture could park it any closer to the car behind him?

If I never see another UAZ again, I will consider myself extremely fortunate...but I don't think Gates is going to let me off the hook so easy.

Jim,
They are even worse with stickers and dingle balls on the outside and mortar rounds on the inside.

what is the cost down there for a series or 110? More or less? I once saw a couple of 5 door 109's in Austin imported from down south somewhere but they were selling them for over 10K each. Just wondering if that's where I should take my next vacation.

My brother-in-law, who lives in Nicaragua said that older Series sell cheap - like US $1,500 and that a lot of them are sold for scrap metal.

As I recall the new red 110 was in the mid US $50k - asking price.
