Has anyone visited this resort in PA? I have a gift certificate from there and was wondering if the driving school was any good.

You've got to post here how it was for the future generation(s)!

The resort was very nice. I highly recommend it if you have the means (Ferris Beuler reference).

But if you are like me and dropping $2,500 for a weekend isn't your thing, then I'll bet you can find better value elsewhere.

Oh, the driving school was for newbs (as expected) but probably good for someone who has never driven off road. Honestly the only real attraction was to drive the H1, which were under maintenance while I was there so I drove a FJ.

No just drove the FJ in favor of a H2 (their vehicles, even though my minivan could have done the job)

If they had the sense to notify me that their H1s were all under maintenance (apparently for months), I would have endured the family whining and driven my defender there, and driven it instead. "Please point me to the trails you won't let me drive your vehicles on".

To be clear, I was give the gift certificate so it wasn't my choice of location. The people who gave us the give certificate thought the off road driving school would interest me, and the rest was to make my family happy
