I don't know how to address it in the Rover world, but I know I sure would have liked some honest feedback while learning the ropes of a new hobby car.

You know, the more I thought about this thread I remember I was bashed on this site. I had a truck for sale for like three months and some negative things were said about me here when I sold it. Not saying I was right or wrong but I was able to respond to their comments so I say if you have something bad to say this is basicaly a public forum and you can always rebutt a negative comment. So why bother, say it or dont. Information good or bad is a good thing.

This is a great forum with few bad apples! Still there are several nut jobs & lunatics in these parts. One of these characters excused me of not shipping him a part, even though i had never received an PM or e-mail from him let alone talked to him or received a payment!

Sasha - I had to remove your alien rape comments - they were a bit too much for me to take. I can live with the image of a sheep out behind someone's shop, or an MTF tranny, but not extraterrestrial violation.

if you have legit beef with someone and have tried to resolve it and cant I think that this is a fine forum in which to air your complaints. ive found, on many occasions, that customer service can be downright terrible. you should protect your fellow forum members from having to deal with people who have screwed you over if, in fact, you have been screwed over.

Thats cool Jim. Talking about sheep behind shops is it possible to link pictures on to the posts anymore?

Sasha - there's an attachment tool below the text box if you "post reply" instead of using "quick reply."

Please note though, we've had to remove some of the more exciting pix posted here - so if you post pix of sheep, make sure all they're doing is standing around...

Not trying to give everyone legal advice, but I'd suggest that people airing issues with other people/vendors/sheep should stick to the facts as they perceive them and avoid insults, slander, and comments about character. The latter could put you *and* the forum at risk of civil action. Not a huge risk. Probably a super-duper small risk. Here are some examples:

That which is cool: "I worked with XXXX and I did not receive said product after multiple attempts. I would advise everyone to do their due diligence on said XXXX and make their own decision."

Probably not a good idea: "I dealt with farkin freakshow who has no morals and is a smelly dirtbag and I've heard this person screwed everyone in the midwest and bleeds kittens as a side gig.."

Just my few cents, experience from working on a bunch of forums for an online company that shall remain nameless.
