Need help in DC area!

So my GF dropped me off at the airport so I could go back to Iowa for two weeks. Then she calls me and tells me that the car (2002 VW Passatt) is pissing coolant and making noise.

Anyways she realized it when she was leaving the house so quicky turned around and parked it. I just went to look at it and poured some water into expansion tank and it's leaking from what looks like lower front cover.

Of course since I am traveling I dont have any tools at all and I need to get back to PA cause I have an engine arriving this week.

I need a shop that can fix me up and not break the bank...

HELP!!!

Thanks for the links I'm familar with those 2 - I used to live on Wesbard ave in the old AU dorms.. Martens is $$$$$ and not to sure about Ernies either.. I picked up some coolant from Martens hoping it was going to just be a lower hose or something easy..

It's parked somewhere it can stay for a while no problem. Was just hoping not to spend a ton of money on it.

I just used Ryan at http://www.ontheroadagainmm.com/ to do the brakes on our land cruiser, he did great work at a very reasonable price.

Please call Pat @ S2 Dynamics. His website is : http://www.s2dynamics.com/

Address is : 12058 Parklawn Drive Rockville Md 20852

Pat is well known in the VAG community in the DC area. He works with a tow company so you can get the car towed.

Jake:

Another solid option is Bob over at German-Swedish Auto in Springfield VA. 571-322-7777.

I've used him many times and trust him unconditionally.

I'm out of town in NY at the moment or I'd offer you personal assistance.

Wow, I literally just left that area yesterday. Unfortunately I would have been of no help since I don't know any shops around there.

Another option (though likely no easier than the others) is volksworks in falls church va -- they've worked on my A4 and I've been very happy with them.
