I failed at the shell station near Whole Foods, put that guaranteed to fuel additive, then went to moble station near old Greenwich and passed. It not really help but it's what happened.

Dawson's classic 4x4 in Fair Field (Land Rover Specialist) or European autoworker in Byram. Both Have worked on my defenders and was satisfied with their works

------ Follow up post added September 26th, 2016 05:55 PM ------

European auto works worked on one of my defenders when it failed emissions

Not a rover trick so not sure if it will work here.

Retard timing until it can barely run then bump it up a few degrees. Run the engine hard before you take it in and keep it at least idling before the test to keep the cats hot. Replace plugs if old. Run dry gas and hope for the best

Get that engine HOT & kepp it hot before the test.
DON'T turn it off even if you have to wait for a long time!

Mark get a can of 44k. Add it to a 1/4 tank of gas. Run the crap out of it and before you run out of fuel go have it tested. You should pass. If not you are only out $25.00.
