We have a 2012 Mini ALL-4 Countryman. Friggin love it. 30mpg in CO and I drive the crap out of it--probably above 30 mpg if I didn't

I initially asked the question because although I know a bit about Rovers, I don't know much about other makes especially late model stuff.

As an example, I didn't know the Mini Countryman existed and that might work out well. Also didn't know the X5 came with a diesel. We looked at one of those a few years back with a stick but didn't buy it. I guess the new ones with diesel don't offer the manual tranny.

We did go and look at the 95 disco with a stick that doesn't run. It had some rust and a bit of rot so figured it would be too much of a project and passed on it.

Just wanted to hear what people had to say just for mental stimulant I guess.
