Seriously though I never liked the metallics on defenders, it is just not "rover".

If it were me I would for sure leave the galvanized exposed. I also really like the series colors, thats what is nice about ares blue, it is kind of series, but still defender.

I had a 77 and 79 FJ40 that were Olive Green which is very similar to that color; apparently it looks much better on a land cruiser than a land rover.

I also really dig the Keswick Green - very series looking but a modern hue.

I think Olive Drab looks good on series rovers as well. This is my 109. Not sure about it on a 110 though.
