Nas 110 #75

Anyone know the thread that was a long time ago about NAS 110 #75? It was the one with the white painted everything (hubs, lug nuts, etc) and I think it was from Hawaii or CA??
I can't recall.
Any help???

Customer now owns it and I'm looking for its history.

Sorry, that should be #75

This one has a white cage, white hubs and lug nuts. White NATO wheels, 4 lights on top and a Warn winch bumper and 2 lights on bumper.

Mike,

If it's the truck I am thinking of, it was rebuilt by Wayne Gayre at Maxline, down in Atlanta (www.maxcar.net). I think it was sold by him to somewhere in the Pac. NW, and then last I heard was sold to someone in the NE ( I assume your customer). I think I could give you some more specifics if you want to drop me a line.

I thought this number 75 was the one that someone bought sight-unseen from Hawaii, and was disappointed when it arrived CONUS. I think it was at Shane Ballensky's shop for awhile, or maybe the guy just lived near him. I haven't been keeping up on things since I've been over here.

Jim,

Is this the truck you are referring to? This one I believe is #246

Mike,

LRFAQ.org states the last description as:

"SALDH1285PA918195 '93 75/500 Alpine White

No Sway Bars, No running Boards, GPS, 4 core radiator, 8 Cibie lights, ARB Bumper, Warn 12000# Winch, OME springs and shocks, Goodyear MTs, Diamond plate re-enforced roof-rack, high lift, sand ladders, no rear seats, flat black bonnet"

http://www.lrfaq.org/Defender/D110.db.1.html

Based on that description, I'd say that it's a fair bet the truck in the following link is the same truck.

http://www.greendiamondtire.com/contact.html

(see also pics attached)

Perhaps the folks at Green Diamond Tire can fill you in on the history. Hope this helps!
