Nas 110 #343

Hey, did someone on here buy Defender 110 #343 recently? I know the previous owners and I heard someone in CO bought it. Just curious if it was someone on here.

Old thread, but you may not want to tell the previous owners what has happened to 343 since they sold it!

So did someone here buy it? It sold today for $2850. I had a chance to look at it in person yesterday. Not much left but I hope it went to a good home.

No I didn't save any of the pics. I brought my camera when I looked at it in person but didn't take any pics because I was pretty sure I didn't want it. I couldn't resist the auction though once it started and bid $1600 as that was all I could stomach chancing on this thing. I really was interested in the cage, but could have used the chassis too. The cage was pretty cooked and is definitely warped in a few spots. I'm not sure how much heat it takes to make these cages unsafe, but the fire was hot enough to melt the windscreen frame and the roof.

Well if all they want is the vin they can save on shipping that carcass to the east coast and drop it ten miles into my driveway! The winner on the auction was listed as "georgia" and all the bidders seemed to be listed by location so I assume its going to Georgia. Or was is Oklahoma, cant remember because the two were in a bidding war once it went over my $1400. I think it was Georgia.
