My favourite Defender ad ever

Just came across this again, and thought I'd post it in case anyone hasn't seen it. I think it was done in South Africa.

If we can get Stahl a high res of this, I vote t-shirts. I likewise have always dug this photo. I did a cross country bike trip years ago and have a similar before and after. All clean shaven, fat, and white the day I left. Then the pic at the end when I hadn't shaved in a month and a half, all scraggly hair, tanned, and lean. Those were the days! Now my time is filled with weekend trips to Home Depot and exterior illumination for the holidays. Awesome.

Naahh.. I trade all the Toys to be 18 again, laying on the beach.. doobie on hand ( I never inhaled though ) with only one worry... What Rogue I was cutting that day.. and what babe..would be the " Femme Du Jour " later that evening.

The soundtrack always makes me think I am watching something from behind the iron curtain.

Definitely one of the best ads they did.
