My father-in-law got a silver star

I just wanted to give a shout out to my father-in-law who was just rewarded a silver star for his actions in Vietnam. He's too humble to desire any sort of recognition so this is well deserved and long overdue.

Wow. That's noteworthy. Thanks to him for his service. It's great to hear that they are still approving awards for past wars. Testimony to "Never Forget"

Congrats.
England created an Artic Convoy medal to honor those who sales to Russia during the second world war. Unfortunately he died before receiving it, but its now part of our family's history.

I recently attended a Command Course with an Australian submariner. During an evening tour of the Arizona Memorial, he turned to me and said, "Your country does Patriotism right."

Thanks to your Father In-Law for his service and humility.

And thanks for sharing this with us.

Just to close the loop with a Defender, here's a photo of me and Ed 7 years ago on the White Rim train in Utah.
