My D-90 dispayed at the Phila Auto Show

As part of Carlisle Productions " Philly Face-Off" which is a collection of collectible/special interest cars being displayed at this years Philadelphia Auto Show, my '95 Arles Blue SW was chosen to be on display for the show.
Today was "load in day" for these specialty cars and while staging the cars I got an interesting look at the behind the scenes while the Phila Convention Center was still being prepared for the show.
Anyone planning to attend, be sure to swing by and give the old girl a tip of the hat.
Pete

Awesome! The first time I saw a Defender 90 in person was at the auto show in '97. Good to see one there again!

Thanks for the comments guys.

The owner of that Unimog was a real specimen, to say the least. He set up camp there in front of his truck and campaigned for votes.
When I got there to simply check things out and attend the show he saw me by my D-90 and comes over and started busting my balls about my sticker "Land Rover Best 4x4 by far"....he was mumbling about how his truck is the real deal and my truck was a toy.
It was full military Unimog...of course it's the real deal.
I had no other rebuttal than to ignore him and he went back to his pulpit in front of his truck.
what a douchebag!

Beautiful Series truck there as well.

That's too bad. Just because I like Land Rovers it doesn't mean I go around telling everyone else that what they got is crap. Not all people that look like adults act like adults

Beautiful truck! "A toy?" What a dick. You did well to ignore your neighbor and I'm glad he didn't ruin the experience. A big truck, owned by an even bigger A$$! Too bad you didn't get his email address, because you could have sent him this:

My guess is your "little toy" was getting the votes and interest of any good looking lady that came by while the type of women looking at his Mog were asking for a repack of dip.
