I am not sure that the 3.8 gets to be known as "potent".... but other than that it was great to watch!

No it's a 3.9....way more powerful! 3.8's were JapSpec.

I was watching this dreaming about the Defender being re-introduced to the US market again. Wishful thinking huh! Cool video

Thanks for posting I had not seen this before. And the Defender in the opening scenes looks to be just like mine when it was in original spec (Coniston Green soft top) but I have since changed quite a bit.

Other than the one on the brochure, has anyone seen a 94 that came without the alloys? The brochure shows one with disco I steel spares.

Thanks for sharing! I've never seen it either. I was imagining my truck all brand new again.

It's funny you mention the steel wheels... I was at my parent's house for Thanksgiving and took a picture of a '94 brochure planning to ask if anyone had seen a set in person. I haven't - at least from the factory on an NAS 90.

I'l have to do a separate posting of the stash of brochures I have collected over the years. There's lots of goodies in there.

I had disco I steelies on Yeastie the green 94, but I added them. The window sticker showed it had the alloys option. I know boosts and wolfs and NAS 110 steelies are cool, but the best wheel is the disco I steelie as it is steel and has a retention bead.
