No. Our figures include the NAS 110 we started with (see my previous post).

The costs here are not man hours.
It was buying all the parts to put that dash and engine together.

Imaging buying a new Corvette. Now call GM and order nearly every part for a Corvette, then add paint and pay guys per hour to put it together...
You get the point.

Yup, more than my house by more than double, but I bet the owner's summer home on the island cost a lot more than a house in Tulsa too.

Luckily there are buyers out there with the money to create things like this because we enjoy building them.

I do stand corrected it was $336.81 short of $270,000 in the event that is keeping someone from purchasing the truck.

$267,263.19 from ECR

+ whatever costs you have on that end to get to your figure.

Just for the record Mike, I need to keep my bill somewhere under 297,000. Let me know if it is going to run much over 150,000.

What is the average property tax in Nantucket vs average priced home in Tulsa? I was referring to the taxes in ACK.

Since we're waaay off topic anyway......

the tax rate (or Mills rate depending where you're from) is crazy low ($3.76/$1,000) probably because there are very few demands on the year-round school system.

It's not the property taxes that get you, its the entry price and the $200per man/hr landscaper!

That's why I asked.

You guys pretty much built the truck from scratch.

I was wondering how many hours it takes to do all that work.

Thanks for the info.

how does a business stay in business when the materials cost of a product costs more than the sale value of the product...especially not including labor?
