Monthly PDX Happy Hour

OK, we have talked about doing this on a regular basis, now is the time for action!

How about every second Tuesday of the month? If not, what works best?

Post up suggestions on where to meet, and let's hash this out.

As far as I am concerned everyone is welcome. (Says the guy that just sold his Defender)

I'm game! (Says the guy that doesn't even live here)

Tuesday is a pretty random day of the week, but it just might work. Last night was based on Jeff's schedule leaving town today, but people can weigh in on which day of the week usually works best. We might not get many of the out of towners on a Tuesday, but I could be wrong.

From my observance of the other club HH, it seems that it's held at the same time, same place, etc. But they might not have the kind of options that we do here in the microbrew capital of the world. We could hit new places each time, but on the same set schedule. Just an idea to keep it interesting.

I am in!

There are a lot of people in our area that drive all kinds of rigs. Agree, all are welcome, but we should keep it to cool Euro vehicles. I don't know anyone who has one of those. (Smiles).

Next meeting date and time proposed: December 8th at 7pm?

Place: We need something that can accommodate a group, and good parking would be a bonus and somewhat centrally located. Show and tell is a huge plus.

Suggestions off the top of my head.

1. Portland Brewing
2. Ecliptic Brewing

Yup! All welcome. Green Ovals, past and present. Except if your truck is trouble free. I don't think we could relate to you! ;-)

So December 8th it is. Ecliptic brewing would work for me.

Who else can make it?

But you should own a Rover. Insert beer!

The idea for this new gathering is to have an informal gathering of people with cool Euro rigs.

Tuesdays might work OK for me. I live a bit out of town, and I rarely get to go to the PCRC meetings, because that's when my wife has a work night.
