LRW is dominated by LR3 and 4 owners. D3 owners are typically more experienced with their rides. The UK site is very comprehensive in every aspect of the D3

As a D3 owner that reads posts here to gain greater insight to defender ownership, i too agree to keep D90 as is. You don't want some of the newbie d4 owners asking about tires everyday.
As I mentioned, The disco3 forum is UK based, and only has a very small US section.

landroverworld.org only has 2 posts in the LR3 forum today.

Nothing like this place.

An even better way to do it would be by invite only, then no "strangers" would be using the LR3 sub forum.

My experience would be adequately defender related if non-defender related threads were actually created in the appropriate area of the forum... For example- "my seat won't remember its setting" would be more appropriately started in misc chit chat vice defender technical discussions.

In this day and age of "everyone gets a trophy" I will understand if a xxx subforum is created, as I have seen the transition in my workplace as well. Argh.

X2 we've not been a pure Defender Source for a long time. What makes this forum tick I think is the defender is the common thread. Whether that be in the form of ownership or respect for the Defender. Therefore, I think sub forums for non defenders are the right thing to do for the same reason we've always welcomed discos and RRs discussions.

P.S. Apologies for my post recently in the Defender Tech section re my LR3 clock spring issue. Pretty certain I did it without thinking much about whether I was disturbing the defender karma.

It's hilarious that some of you seem to feel so threatened by the thought of an LR3 section. What harm is going to come of it? Get off your purist high horse.

I drive the cheapest 90 out there. It has nothing to do with high horse or threatened. It has to do with what my opinion is.

It is not threatened... This is a Defender forum. It does not need to be an all encompassing Land Rover forum. There are dozens of those out there and many good ones.

NO! this is a high horse site and I'll hear nothing of that sort of nonsensical speak... Go Away!
