Question moderator question

Just wondering what happend to the 84 Bonatti Grey 90 with lime green accents for sale thread ?

I was kind of hoping the guy would post more dash photo's. The whole thread has been deleted-kind of out of character here?

The original poster request it to be deleted as he felt is was hurting his listings else where.

I would think the lime green was hurting his posting elsewhere more than anything. Sorry, could not resist.

It is a very polarizing color choice. Only a few select people are going to find that attractive. A good reminder for us who are considering a paint job to be aware of the effects of our choices should we ever decide sell it.

Personally I think it was a nice truck but the paint combo was way over the top. I'm ok with a restrained hit of accent color here or here but not all over the place. My 2.

Personally I think $40k for an import may have been a large part of his problem. Wish he had posted the pictures of the right side of the dash- never seen a two binnacle dash before. I'm thinking there were good reasons he didn't.

If he got rid of all the lime green and the goofy ass lights on the hood it would have been fine.

I was at least able to pull it from the cache. Couldn't retrieve the photos, but at least the description is here if you needed that, Doug. You may also be able to e-mail him directly through his profile and request some photos (username apache).

Fully Rebuilt Land Rover LR90 Defender – 1984 origin
Finished in Land Rover Bonetti gray with complimentary Lime Green paintwork, an awesome ‘custom’ interior and with a host of extras.

This fantastic totally unique Defender was built by us for my own personal use and has been built to exacting standards with no expense spared, including a fully GALVANIZED chassis!!!!!!*

If you want to ‘turn heads’, this will do it.

We have put a lot of money into this Defender, it was built for my personal use, not for profit!! I am reluctantly selling as I need the funds for my business.
I would urge any interested buyers to come and view this vehicle to fully appreciate the quality of the build, the attention to detail and to see first hand just how impressive it looks. The pictures really don’t do justice to this Defender. It looks as though it has just come from the factory, and is arguably better than factory!!

This Defender was built in the UK from a genuine 1984 Defender. All identification is correct and bears matching chassis and VIN numbers. It has been legally imported, is fully USA Customs cleared with all duties paid and is located in South Georgia.*
It has covered less than 100 miles since a complete GALVANIZED chassis up nut and bolt rebuild using many new parts and late take-off TD5 parts.

One of the pictures shows it without the winch and lights on the roof but better shows the true color of the lime green.

The specification is as follows:
