Sorry, link has gone dead. It was a fully documented 1994 300tdi Camel used in 1996. Beautiful original condition with all the proper service wear and tear.

The one out west was a Disco, and that whole thing turned into serious drama. A CT 110 would be badass.

Post pics! I'm sure One Ten bought it or at least saw it. Was it on Craigslist or something? $$?

Land rover 110 original Camel Trophy 300tdi 1994 | United Kingdom | Gumtree

Title: Land rover 110 original Camel Trophy 300tdi 1994

Location: Braintree, Essex

Price: £13,750.00

Mileage: 79500

Seller Type: Private

Description:

For Sale an original 1994 300tdi Camel Trophy Land Rover.

Mileage 79500

This vehicle was one of only four Land Rovers to take part in the Pre scout for the 1996 Kalimantan event.

I have over the last four years spared no expense in maintaining the mechanical parts of this Land Rover.

The list of things I have done are:

Alternator fitted

New fuel tank

P/S Pump

Cam belt and pulley kit

Water pump

Pet gasket

All new glow plugs

New front wide angle prop shaft

All four wheel bearings

Turbo silicone hoses

New rear crossmember

New drivers and passenger side footwell

Halogen conversion kit for front head lights

Stainless steel exhaust

Mobile storage system window guards

New clutch master cylinder and slave cylinder

Head gasket

Exhaust heat shield

Rear dog guard

New rear pinion seals

New rear half shafts

Two new batteries

A split charge system

The front bumper has been shot blasted, galvanised and poly coated. The bull bars have been shot blasted and nylon coated. The front recovery points have been electro plated. These works were completed by Brownchurch.

The winch has just come back from a full service, it was working well off the Land Rover but however it seems to be slightly temperamental at the moment but should only be a lose connection.

The rear door has a fold down kitchen, with hand soap, fire blanket, and storage cupboard.

There is a Mantec rear door wheel carrier.

The Landy has done almost 79,000 miles.

It comes with the original pioneer tools, the Terra trip computer from the event and 4 sand ladders.

The upgrades carried out by Land Rover for the event where extensive, they include

A secondary fuel tank under the driverís seat with a fuel switch linked to the fuel gauge so you can change supplies whilst driving.

An internal/external roll cage by Safety Devices.

Full length roof rack and a 4 jerry can holder and ladder by Brownchurch.

It comes with an MOT with NO ADVISORIES!! expiring on the 24th February 2016.

Please note this is a 20 year old Land Rover that has been to Borneo!!

Do not expect a new car. Compared to other Camelís it is very straight.

However it does have marks, dents and scratches on the body work.

There is rust on the bottom of the doors and rust on the internal parts of the doors.

The wood sheets on the top of the roof rack are looking tired.

The Nato hook will be replaced with the original recovery point from the event.

It will also come with all 5 of the original Camel Trophy wheels.

But thatís about it. A great historic icon that will take you on an expedition or through a 4 foot water hole at the Billing Land Rover show.

Viewing is recommended.

It's been for sale for over a month, cannot believe it took that long to sell. I was relentless in nagging the wife about this truck.

I have the opposite problem. If I had proper space I'd be in trouble.
