Military Vehicle Auction

Pretty Amazing. And this is just the leftovers. The Collings Foundation already cherry-picked the good stuff.

I'm thinking something with multiple wheels, tracks or the number 155 in its name.
Go big or go home!

That is awesome. One of those dingos or a halftrack would be fun...or a tank

Does anyone know if the tanks and guns are functional on destructive device NFA stamps or whether they have been rendered non-firing?

Looks like the Panzer is still there, though

This note on the Conqueror:

"Please note, this lot is a registered Destructive Device. Bidders for this lot must meet certain qualifications; please review the BATFE guidelines posted at Aucitonsamerica.com/littlefieldDD."

Looks like it varies across the vehicles. I did not see this in all of them.

They are considered Destructive Device definition as per the ATF:
http://www.atf.gov/content/firearms/...ructive-device

Own-able in most states with the proper paperwork.

I would seriously nerd out with that stuff...the M16 quad .50 half track is awesome, same-same with the duster. I have always had a fondness for the Panzer Mk IV, never gets the attention of the Panther or the Tiger but was really pushed to the apex of its capabilities.

Yep - did you see the Panzers at Aberdeen?

The couple I looked at said nothing about DD or not which is why I asked. I need artillery and in PA I can legally own it so I would get a 155mm one.

Yep, Panzers at the public side...and the Russian stuff at the....not public side .

I have always found the evolution of armor in WWII to be fascinating. Cold War stuff is interesting but not as compelling in my mind.

Whatwhat? There were Russian tanks?? Hmm.. wonder if they've been moved to Ft. Lee, as well.
