Michelin XL's

Any reviews from someone who's tried them for daily use?
Or
Do they wear out like butter on hot asphalt?

Thinking on 9.00 x 16's if they're worth it.

I ran them for years when you could get them Xmil surplus in Canada for cheap. They are a terrible tire, wear out fast, noisy, lethal in wet weather, and not great offroad. Now that there are so many good off-road tires available I don't see why someone would run these anymore.
