Meet up on Martha's Vineyard in September?

Looking to see if any forum members with Rovers on Martha's Vineyard or off island want to do a meet up on the island and ideally a Chappy / Cape Poge beach run on Saturday September 26th? We could do a meet up, drive the beach and tailgate / picnic.

Wondering if there is interest. I was there earlier this summer and would love to get back

Cool Max I will let you know if we make it down. May have another friend with a D90 that wants to go as well.

sounds fun

What's the ferry run these days to bring the truck across? Although, we had considered going to metal dash weekend. This is a bit closer.

$77 per voyage, $154 per round trip, a relative bargain compared to $400 for Nantucket round trip Passengers $8/person extra. Do book early as weekends in the fall are still sold out often.

I will likely be on Nantucket on the 26th, but I will try to change the schedule if enough people are headed to MVY.

I might be up for this. I'll be on MV the week before, but could make another trip down.

Great Randy I will be confirming my booking in the next day or two and will update the post. Hope we get a good turnout and look forward to the opportunity to meet you in person. Of course I will bring my Rover shirt (I have one in blue ink as well as the black)!

The wife and I are confirmed for arriving on Martha's Vineyard (Edgartown) on Friday the 25 and departing on Sunday the 27th.

I'd like to do at least one meet up on Saturday the 26th, ideally on Chappaquiddick island for a run on Cape Poge.

Those who will be up for this PM me and I will send you my cell number so we can coordinate a meet up place and time.

Looking forward to it!

I'll be there. Can you guys recommend a place to stay (wife is coming so it's gotta be a five star place or close)?

Randy we are staying at the Harbor View in Edgartown which is quite nice and overlooking the lighthouse. This sounds like what you are looking for. Also there is the Hob Knob (Boutique Inn) and Vineyard Square Hotel (right downtown). I haven't stayed at either of those two but know people that have and they said they were very nice as well.

Looking forward to meeting you all!

Awesome Max, looking forward to meeting you. Are you the one with the Coniston Green D90 as well?

PM me and I will send you my cell. Randy already has mine.

See you soon and pass on the word to other Rover owners you may know in the area.

Will

You want to take a look at VRBO or Home Away. It is the end of the season so some people might be flexible with house rentals for a weekend.

Yep, that's me. Our 90s are twins.

If you want 5-star try the Charlotte Inn. It's probably the nicest in town.

Wow they are twins! I didn't know you have white steel wheels as well?!? What size tires are you using? I have 7.50 x 16.
