Maxcar Bargains?

I was wasting time again and found this website: www.maxcar.net Check out the prices for these wrecked 90s. The shots show that the trucks are hurting, but imagine what is unseen in the pictures? Anyways, just thought everyone could take a look and feel a lot better about their own trucks.

That guy always wants top dollar for wrecked stuff. Seems like he gets every wrecked defender in the country.

The price for the 97 White D-90 with a clean title doesn't seem bad. $27,500 with 58K for miles. Is he reputable though?

For some reason, I think I remember seeing that same 97-D90 for sale somewhere with a wrecked rear tub. I remember it because of that pin striping. Also, looking at the pictures everything appears to have layers of dust on it except for where the rear tub bolts to the frame. Maybe it was cleaned up, but I am assuming there is more to it.

Problem is most of them do not have titles. Bill of Sale only in most cases.
I wanted a rolled 110 they had, but it was 35K and not title.

I got my 110 from him with a salvage title (engine fire) for a fair price (not great). I would have run from it if title wasn't included. He's legit, and communicates well, but not the friendliest guy.

Interestingly, it looks like it's from around this area due to the Pikes Peak Rovers (great shop BTW) license plate frame. Even the pictures look like they were taken around here. Curious.

I contacted him about 2 years ago, and it took him 1 year to reply. He replied again, to the same 2 year old message about 4 months ago.
