I'm seriously surprised this thread hasn't brought Doug / Roving Beetle out of the woodwork.

I saw the job posting for a series mechanic. Are you guys expanding to stuff other than defenders? I know you do one off stuff for old customers. Just wondering if restoring series would happen again. I am ready to argue about air conditioning in 109s.

I need a '94 tub badly... if someone can grab one for me I'd be tremendously grateful and I'll pay obviously for the trouble.... or if I have to I'll just try to drive up there to Maine.. but it's slightly far

I think the Saturday after Thanksgiving is a great day. Lots of folks have vacation around that time. Plus - I will already in Maine (Winthrop) looking for an excuse to get out of the house.

If you do it on that Saturday, I could drag a trailer up to Maine with me and do some proxy shopping for the Northern VA crowd.

this makes me very sad - busiest weekend of the Fall. I'd be happy to throw in dough for travel and effort if someone could bring me body parts in arles bleu..

Yes. 2 or 3 sets of fronts and some rear individual jumps.

Most body panels we have are white btw.
Lots of body stuff but not enough if you are looking for something in a specific color.
Thats what paint is for.

We are getting back into Series Rovers.
What happens with other models we'll have to wait and see. Our work load for Series is already booked pretty far out, so time will tell on other Rovers.

Fair enough - figured I'd ask (in a roundabout way)..

What saddens me the most is missing a great northern east coast road trip and the chance for thousands of $$$ in impulse buys.

Oh man, I sure could use a seat box! The one in my '94 is suffereing from some serious corrosion. Maybe a body tub wouldn't hurt either.....

The Saturday after Thanksgiving would work great, but I can make any weekend work really.

Mike

Let me know if you're doing this -- I may put a request for seats in with you. I'll be about 3 hours south of ECR that weekend, may see if I can sneak away for the day and tag along, too.
