Atlantic British has one that's better and cheaper than the Mantec - talk to Eric.

Finally going for it eh? You won't be sorry. It's a great modification for Defender SW.

Pangaea doesn't do equipment sales anymore. I inquired why the gear page no longer shows and they responded advising me as such.

I don't think mine would work with the roof rack without some modification.
I like the WVA tire carrier better than the Mantec because:

1 - heavier duty mounting brackets
2 - painted - not coated - that coating peels off after a couple of years
3 - grease fittings on the pivot points
4 - it offsets the rear wheel to the right improving visibility out the back door
5 - it was a bunch cheaper
6 - mine has five lug studs

The Mantec one will for sure. I had one on mine with the SD rack. I don't remember who I bought it from, but I remember it was expensive.

Actually it is powder coated after being hot dipped galvanized. I know I have one as well. They are great!

I highly recommend all of the kit from WVA Holdings. They sell to Scorpion Racing and many others. The website for WVA is http://www.safari-equip.co.uk , Jack says you can get them from Atlantic British.

Plus they make some really nice rear bumperettes - one of the favorite pieces I've added to my 90.
