Thanks!!

I got passed by a Blue 110 (non-NAS) on Rt. 128 S on the way down delivering it yesterday. Usually I don't see other 110s in my travels.

[QUOTE=diesel_jim]I had a similar thinig with my Td5 110 here, (and my old 90), where i've got a rollcage fitted, the front upright support bars (that bolt to the bulkhead) are in the way to easily fit that stupid little plastic ait intake thing.

So i just bit the bullet and cut a hole down through the wing top and connected the pipe directly to the air box.

Just make sure you measure several times and get it accurate. I used my die-grinder to open the hole up a bit so it fitted snugly (with some of that push on "edging" stuff)

Jim, what did you use to finish off the surround on the hole you cut?

It was proper LR "edging strip", part # MTC7513 (think it comes in 1m or 1.5m lengths) but all it is, is a thin metal piece bent into a V shape, then plastic coated, you just cut to length, then push the V bit over the edge of the metal. I'm sure there's lots of other type of stripping available.
