great little movie so far. Seems like minimal planning on both team members' parts.

It seriously pissed me off to see where some of those photographers were!

Standing in the river crossing? Yeah, that guy was an idiot. And I would have rolled Gus out of the truck at the first opportunity. What a lousy team member. Actually, scratch that. there was no "team" in that guy's mentality.

$385,000 Unimog build. Incredible

So, I watched the whole video on Amazon. It's very cool but it seem that participation in this race ruined the poor guy financially. The irony is that at the end of the film he talks about wanting to participate in similar race in Africa. There must be more pieces to the economic puzzle that I'm not seeing (sponsor money, etc). The Unimog they built is kicka$$ though. I guess i understand wanting to race it more than once.
