Darn it I totally missed the boat on this one! I just started reading the thread now! I was kicking around the idea of buying a rack from Wolf Fab and am looking to get this from DC to NY. That's probably a bigger item than your looking to haul though lol.

Oooooo that sounds fun. If you come down to WTC during work hours today, I can get you up in our building to check out the progress that has been made. Or, I'll be down on Bleecker tonight for dinner and can meet up afterward for a drink - since it's Thursday there's probably a good variety of live music! That's if you don't already have plans...

As a union ironworker in CT and having worked some in local 40 territory do you mind if I ask what you do at the site? Sorry off topic but just quite an interesting place to work.

I'm in a "newly" finished WTC building that overlooks WTC.

I'm back. Trip was about 5 days (4 days of driving) 48 hours of driving and 2300 miles round trip. I saw all 13 of the original colonies, Keith's house, Doug and his 130, saw a Veyron, a DC100 (what a piece of shit), and gave a hamster a tug job, hit on some models.... the NYIAC will never be the same having now been graced with my presence. I've got a rear tub, some tuffy boxes, and a rust free LHD bulkhead.

It was great meeting some of ya'll along the way, and those that I didn't get to meet, I'm bummed, but it was a whirlwind trip in the truest sense. I can't wait to do it again.
