Not sure we can claim intellectual property.

It is better than "Trail Rated" or the old slogan of one life, live it...

I think the merits of the mother ship reading through these forum threads overwhelmingly outweigh the downside of merchandise pirating. I'm thrilled at the possibility that they care or even listen to what we have to say.

The Best 4x4xFar was still the best one they have had. All the old ads were so much better than the new garbage too!

Why not use a BFG Mud TR print instead?

The subliminal message I get is that you first get lost, and then rover breaks down, followed by the hike out.

Yeah they have had the "Get Lost" stuff for a little while now. Didnt really think about the legality of it. I can certainly show its been used by the site for a lot longer than before they "thought" it up and printed in their catalogs

and thats what it boils down... even if I could produce offical ownership of the phrase, I would think it would be a lost cause. Look at RN and everyone else that prints "GOT MUD?" items.. not one of them pays or I bet has permission to print such items from the guy who owns it.

and truth be told, its not like they are cutting into the 5 D-90 Source "Get Lost" item that get sold a year. At least ours has a better picture.

Make them a deal. Do a recall on the damned oil lines, and you'll not sue.

Just to clear the air, I was never really suggesting that Chris try to sue Land Rover over the shirts, I was just trying to be funny (my wife says I never am when I'm trying, so that explains the misconception I guess). I just didn't know if everyone had seen them, and thought it was cool that the D-90 source came up with it first..
