Low Cost Transport Option Ohio to Maine

I am looking to ship my Defender 90 from Ohio to Maine (775 miles) in the next few weeks. I have search the threads and gotten a few quotes based on member suggestions, but they seem really steep. Just looking for other ideas. Thanks

Several carriers say they don't service this route.

ECR is in Maine. Perhaps they have a few Defenders on a truck with an open space you could try to link up with.

I hear ya. They usually like to fill their loads instead of keep them empty, so you may luck out. Unlikely but you never know.

I live in Michigan and have some free time after February 20th. Could drive it for you if the price was right.

Too bad this couldn't have worked out.

No many trucks running that route this time of year, especially given the liability with the conditions and weather. I'm sure quotes are high, transport brokers have to have a higher than normal per mile price to entice a transporter to take the job.

Winter weather can't help. The train of heavy storms makes things tough!
