Looking for a 200 tdi or maybe a 300 tdi

I'm posting this in the chit chat because I'm not quite decided on what direction I'm going and how soon I may act on my decision.

With that said, I'm exploring options for either finding a solid running 200 tdi or potentially a 300 tdi kit to include an R380.

What would likely be ideal is to find a 200 at a great price and keep my costs down as I have the TC and trans already for that set up.

Anyway, if anyone has any of the above they may want to sell then shoot me a pm and we can chat a bit.

Thanks in advance!

I just sold my 200, but I have a complete rebuilt 300 kit on the way (not for sale) from Duncan at Landroverimport.com. I recommend you contact him. I also think Julian at Global Imports has some used kits

Thanks. I know both Duncan and Julian. Both great guys and have done business with both and will again.
But with this quest, I am looking for something within the states that someone can let go of in the lower price scale and not have to wait a long period of time to get it in my hands.

Keep the leads coming in anyone who has a 200 or 300 hanging around.
I'm more leaning towards a 200 bc of the simplicity factor of the swap
So anyone holding a 200 please contact me.

Cheers!

I have two full complete 300 conversion kits right now. One is being held for a board member, but the other is still available. If you care about future parts availability, the 300 is a solid choice. A 200 is in no way a bad idea, but they're harder to come by and parts are becoming NLA rapidly.

For the time being I think I'm looking for a 200 at a good price. I'd consider what others are out there but if anyone has a 200 shoot me a PM. Any others, also shoot me a PM and tell me what you have.

Thanks

Doesn't Mack have one for sale? Disco 200Tdi.

It's in the Parts For Sale section.

Yes, here: http://www.defendersource.com/forum/...etc-64837.html

Yeah!, what Zack said. You guys stop buying 200's. There aren't enough parts to go around.

Considering the future rarity of 200 parts, what is the advantage of doing a 200 swap over the 300?
