So, since this was used in the rally,....how did it do? Maybe I missed this from before....sorry.

How's the truck now?....just curious how a 110 handled a "rally" type of event.

Sorry, nope.
BR#7 is done and gone (3.9 V8 5 speed), BR#8 is in the works (4.6 V8 5 speed) and BR#9 is just starting (4.0 V8 automatic).

Probably smart to say that now.

It was siezed by the US authorities, because they say there was a descrepency in the value of the truck stated at import and the true value of the truck. It came in the top 30 out of 100 cars. No speeding tickets, one ticket in AZ for being on UK numberplates (asked to leave the state)! Also when I got the chap to do the CA title I asked him to put a value of $100,000 on the truck and pay the tax, he didn't and ran it through for $2500, and so the GOVT is very pissed.!

#8's customer backed out due to cost of what he wanted (the Puma and all)(or maybe he backed out due to all the recent heat on the Pumas with many of those units under investigation and some being seized, I'm not sure on his reasons, he told us it was costs) and a new gent from Nantucket took over the project and scaled it back (V8). You will see it, and all the other trucks we work on, being built on our web site and all the smaller projects on our Facebook page.

ah...yikes!...sorry to hear that. Pretty cool it came in 30 out of 100 though...I wouldn't be able to not get a speeding ticket...

Take that green 88 you had the other day. You wouldn't get a speeding ticket on the highway in that.

This is a pathetic thread and it backfired on both you blueberry field chumps. It is one thing to call a guy out when he is constantly posting about how legal his truck is, like I've done in the past. It is another thing to start a thread mocking him when you know exactly what happened to his truck:
http://roversnorth.com/forums/showthread.php?t=11890

If there is this supposed task force that you've posted about in the above thread then don't you think they'd be following the paper trail on these illegal trucks? If I had a couple of them that I was using to make into projects, I wouldn't be doing it at my rover shop. Glass houses my friends, glass houses.

Maybe this?(image)

No it isn't an eastern thing, but its pretty funny and original coming from someone with a fake account hiding behind a keyboard who offers nothing to this community other than snide comments and negativity. (megamatt).
BTW, our shop doors are open. From our lobby you can see all the work bays. If you come on a weekend you can see all the work bays through the windows. If you go to the other shop all those garage doors have windows too so you can see everything. Stop by today, six days from now, six weeks from now, six years from now and see what is going on, or you can continue to hide and be Oliver Stone.

If you are pissy about what we are doing now wait until you see the Heritage 109 and Project Coyote.
